Anyone here use/have Xoftspy?

i downloaded the free version, the one that only scans and tells you the results, and doesnt remove it!

Don’t waste your money. I purchased XoftspySe after it was removed from the rogue list. Will scan and find tracking cookies. Even the purchased version does not remove the spyware. I removed the program.

its a laptop windows vista dell inspirion and i got a virus (trojan) so i intalled AVG 8.0 to remove the virus and i did but then after a while it says “stack over flow at line 0″ and it was all slow and windows live one care says “status at risk” so i reestore it to the day i installed AVG and stills slow!!….
please help i think it stills has the virus!
and the stack over flow thing i think it has something to do with Java!
please help me!

AVG will full use memory cause the stack over flow.
Or your spyware/virus can not be deleted.

My Computer appears to be recently infected by a Trojan.Zlob virus(?). I have run Ad-Aware (which doesn’t detect) windows defender, and i can get any free scan program i want…but how do i get rid of it!! I hate to reload the hard drive and lose all my music and saved pictures etc…but i am not seeing ay other way I am not computer saavy and i don’t even know what i am looking for. I have gone to add remove programs and taken everything off unrelated to the computer itself.

I’ve been having problems for 3 days. I was able to log on yesterday for a short period of time. Anyone else having issues?

Hi Michele. Can you read this? If so your Mail server is OK! Would suggest that you just reboot your computer. (Switch off and on again after a few minutes.) Run a reasonable spy ware programme to see if you have been ‘got at ‘ eg “XoftSpySE” works well for me. Make sure your firewalls are good.

i just noticed this problem like a day ago everytime i go to google and put search on something i click on a result and it redirects its self and goes to a other place thats irelevent to my search i thought it was google but i tried ask and the same thing happenes what can i do?

Since installing pc is slow, It constantly asks me to run full check. Which I did. 3 times today. It don,t appear to work properly, been to site ,done latest version etc. e-mailed them and they said it’s fine. If I delete it and re-install will licence still work? They could not answer that question. bit peeved

I download “system mechanic”, and you really have to read their “EULA”. (End user Lic., Agreement). After reading a few paragraphs, about how they will not take any responsibility for destroying your system. An all the risk is on you as the purchaser, etc. etc. I refused their “Eula”, agreement an ended the installation.

In my spare time I test alot of software program like the one above and especially antivirus an antispyware programs to see if they perform as claimed. An most important to see if there is hidden embedded trojans, malware, in the software or the wizard used to install the program. You would be quite shocked to find out how many top of the line software companies have embedded spyware in their programs. Worse of all I found a Trojan embedded in “Wise Wizard Installer”, while downloading a program. I advised the software company their the “Wise Wizard that they used had an embedded trojan. Sent them the file and they now use their own “Wizard Installer”.

Have never known a program that when you remove it and you have a valid key that the same key will not work again. (Ofcourse there is always the first time, so don’t take this as gospal).

Plus from years of experience I found that any software program that tires to be everything in the filed of technology is usually garbage. Examples, firewall, that instead of just performing what a firewall is suppose to do, protect your from rogue ports incoming and protect your data from leaving your pc without your permission. They have firewall that include antivirus, antispyware, block-up poppers and God only knows what else.

Would you are getting is ripped off as they will not serve you well. Just think, that common sense an a little logic you can see that one anvirus program has a hard enough time keeping your system secure from trojans.

Just about every major software company outsources their tech. support to India. And what you get back from them is a complete joke. (They repeat your problem that you sent back to you without an answer).

For the past month I have an ongoing fight with http://www.paretologic.com I purchased their xoftspy an within a few months after I purchased they came out with two new versions. xoftspyse and xoftspyware. I downloaded the xoftspyse as this program found “filespy”. To remove I have to purchase. The other xoftspy does not find “filespy”. I know this spyware is real because I downloaded Spyware Doctor, just to test as they ripped me off. They told me when I purchased that their program would support Windows 2000 Server. They were 100% wrong. I asked for my money back and they refused. The new download found “filespy”, will not remove unless you purchase like xoftspyse.

Now I am frustrated an trying to find a key for xoftspyse that is four sets of digits.

What I am learning is these companies are becoming a ripp of and making millions of dollars daily on people.

The error is due to a scheduled task; it is not a virus, or malware, or spyware. To get rid of the problem:

- open the Scheduled Tasks folder in the Control Panel and
- delete the “ParetoLogic Registration” entry.

Note:
If you have any ParetoLogic products installed, try reinstalling them. If the error does not go away after you reinstall, then remove the Scheduled Tasks entry. If the error goes away after you reinstall, then you had a corrupted install, problem solved.

If you don’t have any ParetoLogic products installed, then simply remove the Scheduled Tasks entry, as this means that a previously installed ParetoLogic product forgot to remove the entry when you uninstalled it.

* ParetoLogic has a number of products and you may have installed and then uninstalled one of their products without realizing it came from ParetLogic. The following link is the “Products” page from ParetoLogic.com – you should look it over to see if in the past you installed any of these products. Some of their products do not have their name in it, such as:

- RegCure Registry Cleaner

When browsing on mozilla firefox I have been having lots of problems loading pages. I am not sure what is going on. I even unistalled mozilla 3.5 and installed 3.0 and i am still having the same problem, When it doesn’t load a page comes up (megaclick.com) what is this. Also why am I having this problem?

AntiVermins is a rogue spyware program that you probably picked up while installing a video codec or some other piece of software on your computer.

Removal is best achieved by using a commerical-grade spyware scanner. I got hit by this garbage recently, and followed the instructions on this website to remove it.
